Racing Incident Report
Race One: (709) - TSZ WAN SHAN HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1800Meters
AMAZING LUCK began only fairly.
TAILOR MADE began awkwardly.
From wide barriers, THE JOY OF GIVING and CHEERFUL STAR were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After the 1600 Metres, APOLAR WARRIOR was awkwardly placed outside the heels of LUCKY MISSILE.
APOLAR WARRIOR travelled wide and without cover from passing the 1200 Metres.
After the 1000 Metres, AMAZING LUCK commenced to travel keenly and was awkwardly placed close to the heels of WEALTHY EMPLOYEE.
Approaching the 500 Metres, AMAZING LUCK became unbalanced when being checked away from the heels of WEALTHY EMPLOYEE.
Passing the 400 Metres, SUCCESS ALLSTARS was checked away from the heels of APOLAR WARRIOR.
The performance of SOCCER MASTER, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.
Before being allowed to race again, SOCCER MASTER will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of YOU HAVE MY WORD and SOCCER MASTER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
APOLAR WARRIOR, TAILOR MADE and AMAZING AGILITY were sent for sampling.

Tailor Made quickened nicely after a wide with cover run behind midfield to just overhaul Amazing Agility 50m out for a first win at his 22nd start. He relished a step up to the 1,800m and might remain competitive in grade over the same trip off a light weight. Amazing Agility did everything right but get the win after surging to the lead 100m out following a wide with cover run in midfield. The old-timer is in great form. Cheerful Star closed well near the outside to fill a placing after a patient ride fourth last and one off the fence from an outside draw. He's a winner waiting to happen at this level. Success Allstars stayed on reasonably well to just get the head down for fourth after a prominent run. He proved an upset win last start over the Valley 1,800m was not a fluke. Exaltation ran on steadily after a one-off run behind midfield to just miss a quartet spot. It wasn't a bad effort following a downgrade but do prefer him at the Valley. Favourite Apolar Warrior knocked up after getting as close as second 200m out following a wide without cover run fore of midfield. He had an excuse. Lucky Missile died on his run 100m out after working to the lead 400m out tracking the leader Soccer Master from a tricky gate.
