Racing Incident Report
Race Ten: (718) - AMAH ROCK HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1200Meters
THE CROWN lifted its front feet off the ground as the start was effected and consequently lost ground.
PRIVATE ROCKET shifted in at the start and inconvenienced RACING FIGHTER.
From the outside barriers, ALL IN MIND, WHEN YOU BELIEVE and AMAZING ONE PLUS were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Passing the 1000 Metres, AMAZING ONE PLUS was awkwardly placed close to the heels of ALL IN MIND.
ALL IN MIND then got its head up on a number of occasions after the 1000 Metres when racing close to the heels of HONG KONG BET.
After the 800 Metres, PRIVATE ROCKET was left racing wide and without cover.
Passing the 300 Metres, H Bentley (GREEN AEON) dropped his whip.
Near the 75 Metres, MR CROISSANT was bumped by NABOO ATTACH (C Y Ho) which shifted in before being directed out to relieve the tightening to MR CROISSANT.
C Y Ho was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
Near the 50 Metres, TRILLION WIN raced tight outside LUCKY PATCH (Z Purton) which shifted out under pressure before being corrected.
Z Purton was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.
After the race, J Moreira stated that he had to make more use of SIGHT SUCCESS in the early stages to cross runners to his inside than he had hoped.
He said after crossing into the lead passing the 900 Metres, SIGHT SUCCESS travelled satisfactorily, but came under pressure near the 500 Metres when LUCKY PATCH improved its position to be racing directly outside SIGHT SUCCESS.
He added after placing SIGHT SUCCESS under pressure in the early part of the Straight, it initially responded well, however, over the concluding stages weakened which he attributed to the amount of use that it had to be made of the horse in the early stages.
A veterinary inspection of SIGHT SUCCESS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SIGHT SUCCESS, NABOO ATTACK and MR CROISSANT were sent for sampling.

Additional Veterinary Reports from Happy Valley Racemeeting on 26 May 2021 Subsequent official veterinary inspections (without endoscopy) of VIVA MAMA, FOR FUN'S SAKE, GREAT HARVEST, SHANGHAI POWER, TELECOM FIGHTERS, KA YING EXCELLENT, MOONLUCK, A LA KING, ICE LEGEND, MANNA FROM HEAVEN, FA FA, JOLLY GOOD HEART, TELECOM SMART, DANCING FIGHTER, HARMONY N BLESSED, TSAR, GREEN LUCK, SAVAQUIN, SPARKLING DRAGON and LOVING A BOOM revealed no apparent abnormality.

Racing Laboratory tests of RED MAJESTY, WONDERFUL TIGER, NITRO EXPRESS, SHINEALOT, OVERSUBSCRIBED, HAPPILY FRIENDS, FLAMING PASSION, UNIVERSAL GO GO, FORTUNE CARRIER, WHAT A LEGEND, RHAPSODY, TELECOM ROCKET, SAVVY KINGMAN, MORE THAN ENOUGH, SPONTANEOUS, PING HAI GALAXY, BE READY, STOICISM, TRANSCENDENT, ALCARI, SUPERBELLA, XIANG BAI QI and MURRAY'S PARTNERS (19.5.21) proved negative.

Newcomer Naboo Attack rallied strongly to win going away 30m out in a very fast time after settling five back and one off the fence. He looked big and burly but does appear to have a tonne of untapped potential. Mr Croissant closed well after a rail run in midfield to edge Trillion Win by a lip for second. He did produce a better run last start. Trillion Win kept on gamely chasing the speed one off the fence to just miss the quinella spot. It was another fine performance up in grade off a light weight here. Firming to jump a clear-cut second favourite Lucky Patch was swamped late after moving to the front 300m out stalking the favourite Sight Success. It was another good run in defeat carrying a big weight. Racing Fighter made ground late without menacing after settling fourth last along the inside. It was a positive effort but he's just not good enough at this level. Sight Success didn't have much left in the tank 100m out after dictating the run. He likely needed the run following setback with lameness in mid-February. The Crown left things too late travelling fifth from the rear after a sluggish start. He has ability but is still trying to settling in.
