Racing Incident Report
Race Eight: (165) - HEBE HILL HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1650Meters
TOUCH OF LUCK and ELUSIVE STATE bumped at the start.
STAR PERFORMANCE began awkwardly and then became unbalanced shortly after the start when bumped on the hindquarters by ALPHA HEDGE which began only fairly.
ENRICHMENT shifted out at the start and made contact with ASSIMILATE.
After this, ENRICHMENT and ASSIMILATE were shifted across behind runners shortly after the start to obtain cover.
From the outside barrier, ARROGANT was also steadied to obtain cover in the early stages.
ENRICHMENT lost its left hind plate at about the 1200 Metres.
Near the 1100 Metres, ENRICHMENT was left racing wide and without cover.
Approaching the 50 Metres, TOUCH OF LUCK was momentarily crowded for room inside BEAUTY LEGACY which shifted in under pressure.
A veterinary inspection of HELENE LEADINGSTAR immediately following the race found that horse to be lame in its right front leg.
Before being allowed to race again, HELENE LEADINGSTAR will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of ASSIMILATE and TOUCH OF LUCK immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
KINGS SHIELD and STAR PERFORMANCE were sent for sampling.

Additional Veterinary Reports from Sha Tin Racemeeting on 1 November 2020 Subsequent official veterinary inspections (without endoscopy) of BLASTOISE, VINCY, TELECOM MISSILE, PLIKCLONE, ONE STEP AHEAD, RHAPSODY, MY SUGAR, KASI FARASI, SPEED FAY FAY, MERCURIAL, SOARING TOWER, PEGASUS GLORY, AUTHENTIC CHAMP, HALL OF CHAMP, STRONGER, MULTIMILLION, FURORE, EXULTANT, KA YING MASTER, WINNING FOR ALL, ANGEL OF MY EYES, E STAR and HEZA BEAUTY revealed no apparent abnormality.

Racing Laboratory tests of GALAXY EMPEROR, MONEYMORE, KA FORTUNE, GIVE WAY PLEASE, GOKO, ALL THE WAY, SHANGHAI DRAGON, THE FULL BLOOM, RED BRICK FIGHTER, COURIER WONDER, EVERYONE'S DELIGHT, BEAUTY ANGEL, CHEERFUL STAR, EASY GO EASY WIN, GREAT TREASURE, PERFECT TO GREAT, SUNNY STAR, MIGHTY POWER, GOOD VIEW CLARICO, BALTIC SUCCESS, SPARKLING KNIGHT, BIZ POWER, LOCKHEED, KEEP YOU WARM, SKY FIELD, MIGHTY GIANT and BALLISTIC KING (24.10.20) proved negative.

Favourite Kings Shield coasted home well in hand after easily finding the front from a wide gate to ring up a third win from four starts over this course and distance. He's a dirt freak. Star Performance split runners 100m out to grab second following a midfield run on the fence. He's given a good sight for seconds once on each surface from three starts this season and can bob up at any moment. Glorious Artist stuck on well for a placing after a wide run without cover better than midfield from a wide gate. He rarely produces a bad run on this surface. Elusive State just missed a placing following a one-out, oneback run. The big weight took its toll. Righteous Doctrine closed well but left things too late following a one-off run behind midfield. He needs a stronger tempo and is more effective over the 1,800m. Punted late, Beauty Legacy came up one-paced over the last 100m after rolling forward to sit outside the leader 1,300m out.
