Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (701) - THE LION ROCK TROPHY (HANDICAP) - Class G3 - 1600Meters
BEAUTY ONLY was slow to begin.
WERTHER shifted out at the start and bumped PRAWN BABA.
From wide barriers, DINOZZO and SICHUAN DAR were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Rounding the Home Turn, WERTHER and BEAUTY ONLY raced tight as WERTHER shifted out.
Passing the 400 Metres, WERTHER was awkwardly placed behind DINOZZO after being bumped by BEAUTY ONLY and consequently disappointed for running between that horse and DINOZZO.
WERTHER then had difficulty obtaining clear running passing the 200 Metres.
For the majority of the race, PRAWN BABA travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of PRAWN BABA immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
THE GOLDEN AGE and BEAUTY ONLY were sent for sampling.

Favourite The Golden Age rolled to front under his own steam from a wide gate and kept up a strong gallop to win easily. He's won three of 11 and there appears to be more improvement to come. Beauty Only sustained his move after a deep run near the back to grab second 50m out. It was a big run in defeat giving the winner 17 pounds. Romantic Touch stuck on well after chasing the leader one off from a wide gate. He's in a decent patch of form but will need a wet track to gain any edge on his rivals. Specked late Dinozzo stayed on without menacing following a midfield run. He needs at least 1,800m. Packing Dragon kept on evenly following a prominent run on the fence. He's clearly better at the Valley track. Werther stayed on late after being bottled up for a run until the last 150m following a patient ride third from the rear. He had excuses but clearly requires a further trip.
