Recap by phillip woo

Firming favourite Sunny Win produced a good turn of foot to get up 60m out following a patient ride one off travelling beyond midfield. He's proven effective as a sprinter/miler on both surfaces this term and should remain competitive in this grade with a claimer next season. Wayfoong Vinnie made his move simultaneously with the winner after travelling fourth from the rear but found one better in the end. This opens options beyond sprinting on the turf but he doesn't have too many points in hand. Super Wise stuck on all right to wear down King Mortar for a placing after finding cover one off fore of midfield from a wide gate in a pleasing first run on the surface. He's shown ability to place in three of six starts but still isn't the finished product. King Mortar held the fence in a battle for the front with E-Super, edged clear 300m out and grudgingly gave way 100m out. He's only now starting to show a bit more consistency in the run despite winning earlier in the campaign. Silly Buddies left his run too late after travelling third from the rear. He's better in Class Four.
