Super Sprinter quickened well to take control 50 out after settling beautifully in midfield with cover from a tricky gate for back-to-back wins. His killer instinct should remain off a lightweight in a higher grade when next stepping out. Happy And Heathy found one too good after hitting at the 200m following a one-out, one-back run. He had his chance but is ready to win in the right sort of race. Travel Ambassador let down well after travelling fourth from the rear to grab a placing in a good effort following a win last Wednesday. He's still capable of winning another. Favourite Works Of Art grudgingly gave way after sharing the lead without cover. He's still lightly only lightly-raced and will have better days to come. Po Ching Treasure wasn't properly tested over the final 150m following a prominent run along the fence. He can't be written off.

Racing Incident Report

Race Five: (282)-SATURN HANDICAP (Sec1) - Class 4 - 1650Metres

SUPER CLAN began very awkwardly and lost ground.

GLORIOUS SUN stood flat-footed as the start was effected and missed the start by a considerable distance.

After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that GLORIOUS SUN was lame in its right front leg.

Before being allowed to race again, GLORIOUS SUN will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Approaching the 1000 Metres, FLYING PROSPERITY proved difficult to settle and got its head up on a number of occasions.

Making the Home Turn, EXPECTATOR was awkwardly placed behind FLYING PROSPERITY and TRAVEL AMBASSADOR which was laying in.

When attempting a run between KITAYA and ACTUARIAT near the 250 Metres, SUPER CLAN (S de Sousa) shifted out and bumped heavily with ACTUARIAT, resulting in both horses becoming badly unbalanced.

S de Sousa was severely reprimanded for his lack of judgement when shifting ground in this incident.

Over the final 150 Metres, PO CHING TREASURE was awkwardly placed behind VICTORY MASTER and WORKS OF ART and consequently was not able to be properly tested.

KITAYA travelled wide and without cover throughout the race.

WORKS OF ART, SUPER SPRINTER and HAPPY AND HEALTHY were sent for sampling.
