Recap by phillip woo

Yo-Yo Da was well rated after comfortably finding the front from a middle stall and kept up a strong gallop to make it back-to-back wins. His early pace is a great asset and he should remain competitive in the grade, especially if a claimer is utilised. Pakistan Baby eventually settled three deep with cover in midfield after copping a sharp bump early on and finished nicely six deep upon straightening to just grab second in a blanket finish for the minors. He's a winner waiting to happen if he remains in this class. Favourite Speedy Achiever closed strongly after travelling fifth from the rear to get the bob in for third. He's given a good sight in back-to-back Class Fours on a big weight and will eventually get his turn in the winner's circle. Amazing Feeling was collared in the shadows of the post for a placing after stalking the speed. He's running consistently well but keeps finding one or a couple too good in four starts at both tracks this term. Good Companion kept on reasonably well after a handy run with cover from a wide gate. It was a good effort at only his second start and he's have his day in the sun with a bit more education. Starlight made headway late after travelling second from the rear in an improved at his fourth start and first over this course. He's naturally finding his feet.

Racing Incident Report

Race Four: (281)-JUPITER HANDICAP (Sec2) - Class 4 - 1200Metres

From wide barriers, LOVE CHUNGHWA and FORZA AVANTI were steadied and shifted across behind runners soon after the start.

After travelling a short distance, STARLIGHT shifted out, resulting in ROYAL SPIRIT being hampered and taken out onto LOVE CHUNGHWA which was also inconvenienced.

Then after passing the 1100 Metres, ROYAL SPIRIT was steadied and shifted to the inside of the heels of STARLIGHT to obtain a position closer to the rail.

Approaching the 900 Metres, GOOD COMPANION was steadied away from the heels of AMAZING FEELING which shifted out.

GOOD COMPANION then shifted in marginally, resulting in GREAT WISDOM being placed in restricted room.

Then as the pace steadied, SPEEDY ACHIEVER and PAKISTAN BABY were checked away from the heels of GREAT WISDOM and GOOD COMPANION respectively and in doing so shifted out abruptly.

STARLIGHT, FORZA AVANTI and LOVE CHUNGHWA which were following, were all hampered in consequence.

After the 800 Metres, GOOD COMPANION was left racing wide and without cover.

Making the Home Turn, GLENEALY PRIZE was hampered and became badly unbalanced when momentarily crowded for room inside the heels of GREAT WISDOM (A Badel) which lay in.

A Badel was advised to ensure that he affords runners to his inside comfortable galloping room even in difficult situations.

ROYAL SPIRIT, which was following GLENEALY PRIZE, was checked away from the heels of that horse.

SPEEDY ACHIEVER and STARLIGHT were also hampered in consequence.

Soon after straightening, ROYAL SPIRIT shifted out away from the heels of GLENEALY PRIZE and inconvenienced STARLIGHT.

Near the 150 Metres, B Prebble, the rider of LOVE CHUNGHWA, stopped riding momentarily due to STARLIGHT shifting out under pressure.

Over the concluding stages, GLENEALY PRIZE was held up for clear running behind HELLO KIMBERLEY and GREAT WISDOM and as a consequence was not able to be fully tested.

A veterinary inspection of GLENEALY PRIZE and LOVE CHUNGHWA immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

SPEEDY ACHIEVER, YO-YO DA and PAKISTAN BABY were sent for sampling.
