Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (137)-WONG CHUK HANG HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1000Metres
Shortly after the start, TRUMP, which was being steadied to obtain a position with cover, was crowded for room between BEAUTY CONNECTION and DIAMOND MASTER which shifted out.Shortly after the start, TIMELY ARRIVED shifted out and bumped TRAVEL COMFORTS.
From the outside barrier, ELITE SPIRIT was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Making the turn near the 600 Metres, OCEAN ROAR became unbalanced after being momentarily crowded for room inside BEAUTY CONNECTION which shifted in marginally.
DIAMOND MASTER, which was following BEAUTY CONNECTION, was awkwardly placed close to the heels of that horse in consequence.
Also making the turn after the 600 Metres, TRUMP raced in restricted room inside THOR THE GREATEST.
Passing the 200 Metres, THOR THE GREATEST was momentarily awkwardly placed close to the heels of OUR HERO.
Passing the 100 Metres, TRAVEL COMFORTS was bumped by MR RIGHT which got its head on the side and lay in under pressure.
TRUMP had some difficulty obtaining clear running after the 100 Metres.
Throughout the race, TRAVEL COMFORTS travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of DIAMOND MASTER immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm and also an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, DIAMOND MASTER will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
BEAUTY CONNECTION, MOMENT OF POWER and TRUMP were sent for sampling.

Moment Of Power still kept finding to come out a clear winner despite being taken on for the lead. It was his third win from six starts and he should have more to come. Trump finished well after travelling among the backmarker following a slow break to snatch second in a photo-finish of four runners. He's clearly better over a longer trip. Our Hero stayed on very well following a midfield run to just miss the Quinella spot at only his third local outing. It will only be a matter of time before he finds his way into the winner's circle. Beauty Connection just failed by a nose to get into the placings following a one-out, oneback run and may be crying out for 1,200m. Thor The Greatest closed well after working into the open 150m out following a patient ride third from the rear. He has been knocking on the door and won't be winning shortly.
