Odds-on favourite Racing Mate travelled one off the fence ahead of midfield, rounded the final bend five deep and quickened nicely to take control 100m out for a first win at his eighth outing. All Win Boy came on nicely widest out after travelling fourth from the rear to finish a clear-cut second. Hasta La Vista rolled forward from a wide gate to sit one off in second outside Dilly, rushed to the front 270m out and grudgingly gave way. He's rounding into form and will be winning shortly. Both Lucky bided his time second from the rear, straightened five deep, ducked underneath runners for a clear run at the 100m and closed off well to just miss a placing. Peace N Prosperity enjoyed a lovely run on the back of the speed, stayed to the inside upon straightening and was only one-paced over the final 150m. He had no excuse. Love Chunghwa made only a mild bid one off the fence following a rail's run in midfield. Happy Meteor made his run effectively one-out, one-back, straightened four from the outside and only kept on one-paced over the final 200m. Let Me Do saved ground behind midfield, was on heels three deep at the 250m and kept on evenly thereafter. Dilly led, cornered a half-length on top and was stopping 200m out. He needed the outing.

HAPPY METEOR began awkwardly and made contact with DILLY at the start.

From a wide barrier, BOTH LUCKY was taken across behind runners soon after the start.

Approaching the 1000 Metres, FLYING ELITE was steadied away from the heels of LET ME DO which shifted in.

Passing the 200 Metres, LET ME DO was steadied away from the heels of LOVE CHUNGHWA which shifted out to obtain clear running.

MULTIEXPRESS raced wide and without cover throughout the event.

A veterinary inspection of DILLY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

RACING MATE and ALL WIN BOY were sent for sampling.
