Racing Incident Report
Race Three: (760)-SILVER GRECIAN HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Metres
BRAVE BROTHER shifted out at the start and bumped the hindquarters of PEARL WIN which became unbalanced.After this, BRAVE BROTHER, despite being ridden along, failed to muster speed.
TOP BONUS shifted out at the start and bumped SILVER DRAGON which in turn shifted out and bumped FUN TAPESTRY.
From the outside barriers, SAMMY'S EMPIRE and PEACE ON EARTH were steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
Despite being vigorously ridden along in the early stages, SNITZEL KID failed to muster speed.
Passing the 1000 Metres, PEARL WIN was momentarily steadied away from the heels of MASSIVE MOVE (N Rawiller) which shifted in when not quite clear.
N Rawiller was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground in similar circumstances.
After the 900 Metres, NATURAL TEAM was awkwardly placed close to the heels of MASSIVE MOVE.
Passing the 600 Metres, NATURAL TEAM was awkwardly placed behind PEARL WIN.
Making the turn near the 550 Metres, UNBEATABLE GUTS was momentarily crowded for room inside SNITZEL KID which was steadied after improving into tight running inside PLANET GIANT.
For some distance after this, SNITZEL KID continued to be awkwardly placed close to the heels of PLANET GIANT which commenced to give ground.
Throughout the race, PLANET GIANT travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of PEACE ON EARTH immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
PEARL WIN and MASSIVE MOVE were sent for sampling.

Pearl Win rolled forward to park outside the leader Top Bonus at the 750m, rounded the final bend four deep and just outfinished favourite Massive Move 30m out for the win. Massive Move eased back to enjoy the gun run, rallied three deep upon straightening and stayed on well to make it close on the wire. He'll be winning races next season at this course. Top Bonus went forward from a tricky gate to dictate the running, cornered a length on top and was grudgingly giving way. Natural Team kept plugging away with three wider out following a prominent run with cover. Fun Tapestry ran on steadily one off the fence following a rail's run in midfield to just miss a Quartet spot. Unbeatable Guts ran on without menacing with two wider out following a one-off trip from behind midfield. Brave Brother made a mild bid five deep following a rail's run underneath Unbeatable Guts. Peace On Earth got by beaten rivals from the back after a sluggish break.
