Racing Incident Report
Race Three: (618)-CELOSIA HANDICAP - Class 5 - 2200Metres
From wide barriers, HIGH SPEED METRO and EVERSPRING were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.JOYFUL MISSION lost its left front plate near the 1500 Metres.
Near the 950 Metres, JOYFUL MISSION and ENJOY THE GAME raced tight.
At the 700 Metres and again approaching the 600 Metres, JOYFUL MISSION and ENJOY THE GAME bumped, causing both horses to become unbalanced.
HIGH SPEED METRO, which was following JOYFUL MISSION, was awkwardly placed close to the heels of that horse in consequence.
After being held up and unable to improve rounding the Home Turn, SWEET BEAN was shifted out away from the heels of SMART UNION passing the 400 Metres to obtain clear running.
WIN CHANCE was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight.
GLORIOUS VICTORY was unable to obtain clear running until near the 250 Metres.
Passing the 200 Metres, GLORIOUS VICTORY was shifted out away from the heels of SUPER STRIKE.
For the majority of the race, ENJOY THE GAME raced wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of HIGH SPEED METRO and EVERSPRING immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WIN CHANCE, SMART GUY and SWEET BEAN were sent for sampling.

Smart Guy was patiently ridden behind midfield and one off the rails, rounded the final bend six deep, worked to the front 200m out and kept on gamely for a second win from three rides under Joao Moreira. Sweet Bean saved ground along the rails in midfield, angled into the open with three wider out at the 300m and ran on steadily to grab second 50m out. Super Strike was handy without cover, rolled forward to sit second at the 1,200m, straightened four deep and fought back when headed to claim a placing from favourite Win Chance in the late stages. Win Chance had only two behind him coming to the final bend, was held up one off until the 300m, moved to second at the 150m and peaked on his run 50m out. Glamorous circled the field to inject some pace into the race at the 1,200m to sit third at the 1,000m and kept on one-paced over the final 150m. Glorious Victory was prominent along the rails, held up near three deep until the 240m and only held his ground thereafter. Smart Union travelled effectively one-out, one-back, pulled out coming to the final bend and only plodding over the final 150m. High Speed Metro only got by beaten rivals after travelling second from the rear.
