Star Australian jockey Hugh Bowman has been passed fit to ride at Tuesday’s National Day meeting at Sha Tin.

Bowman was stood down from Saturday’s Sha Tin card because of an ear issue which was affecting his balance, missing out on wins aboard Daily Trophy and Rubylot.

Still under a cloud on Monday afternoon, Bowman was cleared by the Jockey Club’s chief medical officer early on Tuesday.

The 44-year-old will partner Invincible Sage in the Group Three National Day Cup (1,000m) among a book of eight rides.
