He’s been no match for Hong Kong superstar Romantic Warrior in their two Sha Tin showdowns but Dubai Honour has proven a global force all the same, saluting twice at Group One level in Australia and once in France.
On Sunday, the British galloper will look to add Germany to that list when adding the international flavour to the Group One Grosser Preis von Baden (2,400m).
Dubai Honour is trained at Newmarket by William Haggas and star jockey and regular rider Tom Marquand will travel to southwestern Germany for the big-race ride.
Dubai Honour could well start favourite in the six-horse affair, with last year’s German Derby hero Fantastic Moon and a couple of smart three-year-olds his main opponents.

While very solid, Fantastic Moon has been found wanting in top international company and would prefer slightly softer conditions.
Both Narrativo and Spanish Eyes are among the top of their age group but have to prove their worth against elders.
Tunnes and Mr Hollywood, regulars in this sort of race, are likely to be outsiders. The latter would like slow conditions but that is extremely unlikely with no rain predicted and a heatwave forecast.
A World Pool event, the Jockey Club will simulcast five races from Grosser Preis von Baden Day as part of a bumper Sunday offering.
Things kick off at 8.39am Hong Kong time with three races from Del Mar in the United States, highlighted by the Group One Pacific Classic (2,000m) on the dirt, while punters can also sink their teeth into four races from France following the action from Germany.
