Money Boy managed to pull a good effort out at Sha Tin last time out but he has preferred Happy Valley all season and should take some beating there on Wednesday night in the Korea Racing Authority Trophy (1,000m).
The John Size-trained gelding has been super consistent, if a rare winner, and gets a race set-up that will really suit his run-on style.
Four starts ago, Money Boy (Brett Prebble) swamped his rivals late to win a Class Three over the distance at Happy Valley and there are similarities here. For one thing, there are plenty of fast leaders again, who will match each other for speed in the first half of the race and make sure that the back-markers get their chance.

Since that win, Money Boy was modest down the straight at Sha Tin then was off the track at the Valley behind Moment Of Power then he surprised with his second at Sha Tin.
There was some rain that day and it might have assisted Money Boy on a track that often seems too firm for him and he went close behind Wayfoong Vinnie.
But back to the Valley, a more forgiving surface underfoot, he should settle midfield from gate one, rail into the race coming to the home straight and then be strong at the finish.
Of course, the query is that record of three wins from 30 starts, with a whopping 14 minor placings, but there is no questioning his consistency.
Sliding doors: Brett Prebble notches his 800th Hong Kong win, but it almost never happened
As a danger, there was a bit to like about After Me (Matthew Chadwick) on debut behind Moment Of Power. He was slow to begin then got a squeeze before working through to midfield that night, then he held his ground in the home straight. He should have improved for that and looks a chance if he can sort out the start.
Dragon General (Nash Rawiller) also looks a danger and will be charging home but the concern is that he will give too much of a start coming back to 1,000m.
