Where are these 16 former US first kids in 2025? From Barron, Ivanka and Tiffany Trump, to George W. Bush and Caroline Kennedy, and Malia and Sasha Obama
Their fathers are – and were – some of the most famous men in the world, from Donald Trump and John F. Kennedy to Barack Obama and George H. W. Bush
Children of US presidents are in the public eye almost as much as their famous parents. Some first kids have followed their parents into politics, while others have preferred to stay out of the limelight.
Here’s what some other famous first kids are currently doing.
Caroline Kennedy, daughter of President John F. Kennedy and first lady Jacqueline Kennedy
She was the first woman to serve as ambassador to Japan, AP News reported. She resigned from the job shortly after President Donald Trump was sworn in in 2017. Joe Biden nominated her as US Ambassador to Australia in 2021, and she took up the role in 2022, according to the official US Embassy website.
The former lawyer also serves as president of the JFK Presidential Library and has written bestselling books on constitutional law, American history and poetry.
Caroline is married to American artist and designer Edwin Schlossberg and they have three children.
George W. Bush, the oldest of George H.W. Bush and Barbara Bush’s children
George W. Bush went to Yale and worked in the oil business before venturing into politics himself. He campaigned for his father in 1988 and served as governor of Texas from 1995 to 2000.
Bush served as the 43rd president at the start of the war in Iraq. He was criticised for his handling of the “War on Terror” launched after the events of September 11, 2001, Hurricane Katrina and other challenges, The New York Times reported.
