Former president George W. Bush’s daughter Barbara Bush spent a portion of her weekend in Pennsylvania campaigning for Kamala Harris and women’s rights – so who is her husband, Craig Coyne?

Recently, former president George W. Bush’s daughter Barbara spent a portion of her weekend in Pennsylvania campaigning for vice-president Kamala Harris. “It was inspiring to join friends and meet voters with the Harris-Walz campaign in Pennsylvania this weekend,” the 42-year-old shared in a statement with People magazine on October 29. “I’m hopeful they’ll move our country forward and protect women’s rights,” she added.

It’s been 15 years since her father left office, and Barbara Bush is now 42-years-old and has a family of her own. So who is her husband, Craig Coyne? Here’s what we know:

Craig Coyne is an actor

Coyne is an Atlanta native who works in the entertainment industry as an actor and writer. As seen on his IMDb page, he has appeared in a handful of films including Jarhead, Snowtown and Unlovable. Per People magazine, the Vanderbilt University graduate also wrote the Funny or Die series Ask Play, and even briefly worked in politics – as a page in the US House of Representatives.

How did Barbara Pierce Bush meet Craig Coyne?

The couple reportedly met after being set up on a blind date. Per People, the pair were set up by their friends in November 2017, and Barbara’s sister Jenna was there too. “My friend knew his friend, so it was very blind,” Barbara told People in 2018.
