Say hello to our new publication: Young Post Spark. Photo: Shutterstock

Dear Young Post readers,

Welcome back to another exciting school year. Our team has a big announcement to share: we are introducing a new publication, Young Post Spark!

Spark is the latest addition to the family, and it sits between our flagship Young Post and Posties products. It is the perfect entry point for students who need an extra boost in their journey of learning English.

We believe Spark can be a valuable companion for students who require more nurturing and encouragement in developing their English proficiency. It is also an ideal publication for younger readers in lower secondary forms, who are ready to move beyond Posties but may not yet be comfortable with the level of content in Young Post.

Spark helps to create a solid foundation for students, sparking their interest in mastering basic literacy skills. This can equip them with the confidence to progress towards the more complex material that is featured in Young Post.

Spark matches Young Post in size, with 24 pages published every Monday. We have carefully curated the content by taking the best news and feature articles from Young Post and adjusting the readability to suit lower secondary students and those still building their English fluency. Using the Flesch Reading Ease score, the material has been optimised to ensure that it is accessible and engaging for readers.

Like Young Post, Spark also includes a range of supplementary worksheets and exercises to provide students with additional support and targeted practice, both in and out of the classroom.

Our mission is to make English learning inclusive by empowering every student to become a confident reader. Young Post Spark is our latest step in this educational journey.

We look forward to welcoming you for another year of adventures, learning and fun with the expanding Young Post family!

Best regards,
Team YP
