PHILIP WOO’S FORMLINE
Invincible Missile has returned to form to fill the frame in his past three runs across both tracks and does find himself down in Class Five after dropping a generous two points for a recent fourth over 1,600m. Perfect Peach made it three placings from five C&D runs at this level following a second 13 days ago. He will be running on late. The Concentration scored an upset win tracking the speed two runs ago over this C&D before running into all sorts of trouble last start. He cannot be ignored. Aromatica woke up last month with a second before staying on for third and he can place.
TROUBLE IN RUNNING
INVINCIBLE MISSILE (C037) was slow to begin. - Race 807.
THE CONCENTRATION (H465) despite being ridden along in the early stages failed to show sufficient pace to hold a more forward position. After the 300M became held up for clear running and did not obtain clear running in the Home Straight thereafter. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 732.
E GLORY (H304) held up for clear running between the 400M and the 300M - Race 783.
ASIAN ONE (E400) bumped at the start. For a short distance near the 450M raced tight. After the race, rider stated that his mount raced keenly due to the race being run outside of standard time in the early and middle stages. He said after being briefly crowded on the Home Turn, his mount failed to run on in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 804.
PERFECT PEACH (E488) jumped only fairly - Race 783.
MAXIMIZE HEART (D311) after the race, rider reported that his mount was held up for clear running in the early part of the Home Straight but did not finish the race off strongly thereafter. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 783.
MEDIC ELITE (G129) on jumping was checked when crowded. Approaching the 350M became held up for clear running and did not obtain clear running until near the 250M - Race 804.
DOUBLE SHOW (G250) jumped awkwardly - Race 742.
SUPERB DADDY (D235) jumped only fairly - Race 804.
CHIRON (E151) from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Lay in in the Home Straight - Race 783.
YOO YOO KNIGHT (H053) making the turn near the 900M lay out and was awkwardly placed. Then continued to lay out in the middle stages and raced wide and without cover - Race 784.
NOBLE WIN (H195) bumped on jumping. After the race, rider stated that from the outside barrier his mount settled back in the field and carrying 134 lbs found it difficult to make up ground in the Home Straight. Following the race was found that horse to be a "roarer" which had previously been reported - Race 784.
TRACKWORK HIGHLIGHT
Double Show quickened nicely in his gallop on the Sha Tin dirt on Tuesday.
