Recap by phillip woo

Punted late Manythanks Forever had a dream run one out, one back, moved to the lead 250m out and drew clear for a maiden win at his 13th start. He can win again. So Awesome ran on well after a one-off trip from midfield to grab second. He's close to a win. Favourite Gluck Racer kept coming for third after being put under pressure 600m out settling four from the rear. He should pick up a win shortly in this grade. Podium finished willingly down the far outside to just miss third after making his run second last from gate 14. Charmander closed off all right with one wider out for fifth after straightening three from the back. It was another honest effort after fading back from a wide draw. Gallant Crown weakened 100m out after assuming the front on straightening following a pace-stalking run outside leader Sunny Shines. It was an OK effort down in grade with the claimer atop. Hoss had his chance after peeling into the open 400m out settling behind midfield with cover but only plodded over the last 150m.
