Race Six : (108) - THE LONGINES CUP (HANDICAP) - Class 3 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 BRAVE STAR (G268) C Y Ho Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 3 PRAWNS ELEVEN (J140) H Bentley Jumped awkwardly, then blundered shortly after and made contact with MEGA BONUS.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 4 BEAUTY INFINITY (H377) B Avdulla Shortly after the start was bumped heavily and became unbalanced.
Approaching the 250 Metres was held up for clear running behind MEGA BONUS and KING PROFIT and as a result was badly held up until near the 100 Metres.
Horse No 6 HEALTHY HEALTHY (H203) Z Purton Making the turn near the 1000 Metres was steadied to avoid LUCKY ARCHANGEL when racing keenly.

Horse No 7 MEGA BONUS (E184) A Atzeni Bumped shortly after the start.
Horse No 8 KING PROFIT (J539) L Hewitson After the event, L Hewitson confirmed that from the outside barrier if his mount commenced well, he was given the option to take up a forward position.
He said as a result after jumping well, he elected to race outside the leader MEGA BONUS in the early stages.
Trainer C S Shum confirmed the instructions issued.
Horse No 10 RIDING HIGH (J403) M Chadwick Shortly after the start shifted out and away from HAPPY FAT CAT, was bumped heavily on the hindquarters and became badly unbalanced.
Horse No 11 VICTOR THE RAPID (J393) K Teetan Shortly after the start was checked when crowded between BEAUTY INFINITY and RIDING HIGH which after being taken out slightly by HAPPY FAT CAT when that runner shifted out before being corrected by its rider.
Near the 350 Metres became unbalanced when racing tight to the inside of POSITIVE SMILE.
Approaching the 200 Metres was shifted to the outside of MIGHTY COMMANDER to secure clear running.
After the 200 Metres was then hampered when taken wider by MIGHTY COMMANDER which shifted out.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 12 MIGHTY COMMANDER (J360) L Ferraris Slow to begin.
Raced keenly in the early stages.
Approaching the 200 Metres was steadied and shifted to the outside of BEAUTY INFINITY to obtain clear running.
Near the 100 Metres was hampered when taken wider by BEAUTY INFINITY.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Brave Star travelled wide and without cover from gate 11 but kept finding after working to the lead near the 200m marker for back-to-back wins this term. He will remain in the grade and another win down the line won't surprise. Prawns Eleven was running on strongly with one wider out after a patient ride in second last from a tricky gate. It was a solid effort trying the Valley for the first time after a non-threatening eighth at Sha Tin last month. Favourite Healthy Healthy made a steady bid for third after a wide with cover trip behind the eventual winner. It was another honest effort this season. Lucky Archangel made some ground for fourth without threatening the top three after slotting one off the rail with cover in midfield. He's gone all right in both starts this term. Happy Fat Cat gradually faded after a box-seat run. It was an improved effort at his third run this term. Plunged late, Riding High just held his ground after a prominent run one off the fence at his second local start. He is still acclimatising. Victor The Rapid ran on without threatening after easing back to travel second last along the inside.
