Racing Incident Report
Race Two : (104) - SWIFTY HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters
Horse No 2 E UNIVERSE (H151) L Hewitson Shifted out shortly after the start and was bumped.
Bumped after the 200 Metres.
After the event, L Hewitson stated that over 1000 Metres tonight E UNIVERSE, under its top weight of 134 lbs, did not travel well and, in his opinion, would be better suited by being stepped up in distance where it can travel at a more sustainable early pace.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 4 BRAVE OF FRIENDS (J382) H Bentley Crowded on jumping.
Horse No 5 SILVER SPURS (J043) A Badel After the 600 Metres, when racing greenly, shifted out slightly and made contact with ROARING BEBE.
Horse No 6 HAPPY TANGO (D075) K Teetan Shortly after the start was bumped on the hindquarters and became unbalanced.
Horse No 7 ROARING BEBE (H105) B Avdulla Bumped on jumping.
After the 600 Metres became unbalanced when racing tight between HAPPY TANGO and SILVER SPURS which shifted out.
Held up making the Home Turn.
After the 200 Metres shifted out and made contact with E UNIVERSE.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 UNIVERSAL BLAZE (J160) B Thompson Shortly after the start became unbalanced when bumped by E UNIVERSE which shifted out.
Raced very wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
Horse No 9 VICTORYTHIRTYTHREE (J216) L Ferraris Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 10 MIU FA FA (J145) M Chadwick Slow to begin.
Horse No 11 HAPPY HORSE (H061) Y L Chung Jumped awkwardly, shifted out and was bumped.
After the event, Y L Chung stated that after jumping awkwardly, his mount settled further back in the early stages.
He said after allowing HAPPY HORSE to go forward, it was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event, resulting in it not being able to finish the race off in the Home Straight.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, HAPPY HORSE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
Horse No 12 MODEST GENTLEMAN (G352) M F Poon Bumped on jumping.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 1 MA COMET (H391) Z Purton Withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore).
Before being allowed to race again, MA COMET will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Outsider Victorythirtythree never looked back after pinging the gates from barrier seventh for a first win at his fifth career start. The move to a hood worked the oracle after a weak run earlier this month at Sha Tin. Roaring Bebe ran on nicely for second after settling one off the rail behind midfield. He is close to a win. Silver Spurs stayed on well for third after travelling on the rail in midfield. He was able to live up to a recent trial win at the Valley. Happy Tango ran on well for fourth with two wider out after a wide with cover trip behind midfield. It was a better run with a return to the turf after misfiring last start on dirt. Bulb Emperor made up good late ground down the outside after fading back to last from gate 12 at the start. He has gone all right once at each track from three runs this term. Favourite Modest Gentleman only plodded when asked for an effort after a prominent run one off the fence. He likely needed the run first up but is generally an unreliable type. Universal Blaze had an excuse after getting posted four wide without cover travelling behind midfield.
