Horse No 2 ONLY U (J037) C L Chau Crowded shortly after the start by CIRCUIT MAXIMUS which shifted in slightly.
Horse No 3 APOLAR FIGHTER (J169) H T Mo From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 4 STEPS AHEAD (J263) H Bowman Passing the winning post was steadied when crowded by GREENWICH which shifted in before being corrected by its rider A Atzeni.
Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 5 GREENWICH (H328) A Atzeni Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 6 FOOLISH HEART (J054) Y L Chung Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 7 MEEPMEEP (H234) B Avdulla Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 8 STORMING DRAGON (J237) Z Purton Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 9 TRIPLE BLISS (J310) K C Leung For some distance near the 900 Metres raced keenly.

Near the 1100 Metres was steadied to avoid GLUCK RACER.
Horse No 11 CIRCUIT MAXIMUS (J347) L Hewitson Shifted in shortly after the start and was bumped.
After being crossed by GREENWICH near the 1000 Metres commenced to race keenly, got its head up and refused to settled for some distance thereafter.
Horse No 12 GREAT SPIRIT (J155) M F Poon Jumped awkwardly and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Horse No 13 GAMEPLAYER WARRIOR (J178) M Chadwick From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Near the 1100 Metres was steadied to avoid APOLAR FIGHTER.
Horse No 14 GLUCK RACER (E157) K Teetan Jumped awkwardly, resulting in its rider K Teetan becoming unbalanced.
Near the 1100 Metres GLUCK RACER, which was initially positioned to the outside of MEEPMEEP, then shifted in and improved to the inside of MEEPMEEP as that runner was being shifted in towards the rail.
As a result GLUCK RACER was checked away from MEEPMEEP and shifted in abruptly, crowding APOLAR FIGHTER.
As the Stewards were satisfied that B Avdulla, the rider of MEEPMEEP, had ridden with care during this incident, no action was taken.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

Greenwich responded nicely to reel in Storming Dragon 50m out after slotting one off in third from gate 11 for a second win and first from eight starts this term. Storming Dragon grudgingly gave way after dictating the run from gate eight. He is close to a win but once again found one better on the day. Favourite Steps Ahead ran on well for third after a handy run on the fence. It was another positive showing after back-to-back seconds over 1,200m. Only U ran on steadily for fourth after a one-off trip from midfield. He relished a return to the level of a win in February. Amazing Duck only plodded when asked for more after a speed-chasing run on the fence. He couldn't return to top form despite a downgrade. Great Spirit made some ground late after making his run five back and one off the fence. Meepmeep ran on without ever looking a chance after a one-off trip from behind midfield. He couldn't build on placings in two of three other starts.
