Race Six : (294) - PAT SIN LENG HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Horse No 1 TOGEPI (G458) L Ferraris Bumped at the start.
Ran wide making the Home Turn when being shifted to the outside of EVER VICTORIOUS to obtain clear running.
Horse No 2 E UNIVERSE (H151) H Bowman Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
After the race, H Bowman stated that at the start his mount jumped a little awkwardly which resulted in him becoming unbalanced in the saddle when his reins slipped and E UNIVERSE settling further back in the field in the early stages.
A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
Horse No 3 PARTY WARRIOR (E368) L Hewitson Bumped at the start and became unbalanced.
Horse No 6 ERNEST FEELING (E209) A Hamelin Sent for sampling post-race.
Horse No 8 SIGHT VICTORY (H378) B Avdulla Jumped only fairly.
Horse No 9 CHEONG FAT (H058) Z Purton Shortly after the start shifted in and made contact with EVER VICTORIOUS and then was shifted across behind runners thereafter.
Horse No 12 SUPER EAGLE (G408) A Badel Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.

ven-money favourite Ernest Feeling jumped alertly from gate one and kept on gamely after reclaiming the lead from Glory B 300m out for a third win from his past four starts. It was his first victory in Class Four company. He is racing very well and can win again. Super Eagle kept on gamely for second after chasing the speed wide without cover from gate 12. He is a winner waiting to happen after finishing second in three consecutive runs. Po On Way ran on nicely after a handy run on the fence to finish a close third. He relished the switch to the Valley after going all right in two of his first three Sha Tin runs over 1,400m this term. Cheong Fat made a good bid late along the inside to snatch fourth after a patient ride two from the rear. It was a good effort off a 184-day break for his new trainer. Togepi just failed to get up for fourth down the outside after a wide trip behind midfield. It was not a bad run carrying top weight. Lucky Quality only plodded when asked for an effort after being hustled to hold a spot in the one-one position from gate nine. Party Warrior ran on without threatening from towards the rear.
