Recap by phillip woo

Happy Trio dashed well to get up in the dying stages for his third win on his 23rd outing after travelling wide with cover in midfield. He went one better than his last-start nose second. Exuberant came from near last to edge Regent Glory for second despite drifting in under pressure again. He is racing very well this season. Regent Glory grudgingly gave way after finding the front from gate three. It was another good effort after his Sha Tin 1,200m runner-up result last time. He should register another victory soon. Kasi Farasi ran on steadily from midfield to fill the frame. It was an improved effort from a central gate after exiting an outside barrier three weeks earlier. Favourite Victory Scholars plodded after his box-seat run. He has yet to put his best foot forward in four starts this term, but it was a better outcome on his return to Class Four. Punted late, Podium made a mild bid from worse than midfield and one off the fence. He is limited. Shining Fortune ran on without threatening the placegetters. It was only an OK effort
