Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (786) - CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT 1400M HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters
LUCKY PLANET shifted out on jumping, crowding HIGH PERCENTAGE.
JOYFUL GENIUS jumped only fairly.
GREEN N WHITE jumped awkwardly and then was crowded by PARTERRE which shifted out.
From a wide barrier, SUPER CONTENTED was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Approaching the 1200 Metres, V CHEVALIERS lay in despite the efforts of its rider and bumped HIGH PERCENTAGE.
HIGH PERCENTAGE then commenced to race keenly and for some distance thereafter got its head up when being steadied away from PUBLICIST.
Near the 800 Metres, HIGH PERCENTAGE, which continued to race keenly, shifted out, resulting in SINGAPORE SPIRIT being steadied to avoid the heels of that runner.
DIVINE ERA pulled hard in the early stages and near the 900 Metres shifted in and brushed the running rail.
Near the 700 Metres, HORSESAIN BOLT brushed the running rail when racing tight to the inside of SUPER CONTENTED.
V CHEVALIERS lay out on the Home Turn before weakening in the Straight.
A veterinary inspection of HIGH PERCENTAGE and V CHEVALIERS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
After the race, GREEN N WHITE was noted to have sustained a small laceration to the right front leg.
GREEN N WHITE and DIVINE ERA were sent for sampling.

Favourite Green N White won going away 150m out after his wide midfield trip with cover. He relished rising in trip after running well in defeats in his first three starts. Divine Era surged late between runners to snatch second after his box-seat run. He relished a step up to his favourite 1,400m. Publicist wore down leader Parterre after his speed-tracking run to just take third. He was able to back up his near win last start. Parterre grudgingly gave way after quickly shooting to the lead from gate nine. He has the tools to get away with a race shortly in this grade. Wide Blue Yonder produced only a one-paced run from midfield. He has had a lot of racing and the big weight did not help despite his return to the level of an earlier win. Joyful Genius ran on without threatening the placegetters. He could not build on a rallying win and third in his two prior starts. Lucky Planet could not sustain his effort after switching out for a clear run upon straightening. He is still a work in progress. High Percentage found nothing when push came to shove after his wide run with cover behind midfield.
