Recap by phillip woo
Sight Success was out sharing the lead with Ka Ying Master on his outside, established a clear advantage 600m out and drew clear for a convincing win. The return to the dirt didn't matter as he picked up a third win from his past four starts. Californiadeepshot ran on well near the inside travelling better than midfield to snatch second in the shadows of the post. He has been ultra-competitive on either surface in Class Two this season. Ka Ying Master stayed on well for third after vying for the lead one off the fence. He's given a good sight once on each surface this season and can bob up at any moment. Czarson ran on steadily after a one-off trip in midfield to just miss a placing. It was an honest effort after nearly causing an upset last start on the turf. Man Star kept on one-paced after a prominent run. He's a Class Three horse. Chancheng Prince never menaced from towards the rear. He didn't perform over an inadequate trip. Silver Fig never landed a blow after a tardy break. He couldn't click on a surface favouring speed all day.
