Hot favourite Nervous Witness floated to the lead on the stands side from gate 10 and won hard held to get his career off to a bright start. He remains one to follow. Circuit Seven stayed on well chasing the speed to add some value to the quinella. It was an improved effort at his 11th career start. Punted late Glenealy Generals finished well to grab a placing late after switching to the centre of the track 350m out travelling for the most part in traffic at the rear on the grandstand side. He's honest but has trouble winning. Spicy So Good stayed on all right following a handy run near the far side. He's shown some ability in his five starts and can bob up at any moment. Goodmanship gradually faded after prompting the pace from a low draw. It wasn't a bad run but he's still learning the ropes. Cordyceps Six kept on evenly settling midfield in the centre of the track. He was always going to be set a task carrying top weight in open company for the first time. Fabulous Eight made only a mild bid travelling midfield. He needed the run. Specked late So Awesome ran on without menacing from towards the rear. He clearly requires a longer trip.

Racing Incident Report

Race Six: (6) - LIN FA SHAN HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1000Meters

As the start was effected, KOWLOON EAST STAR bounded in the air and consequently lost ground.

SPICY SO GOOD shifted out at the start and bumped CORDYCEPS SIX.

E SPRINTER shifted out on jumping and bumped NERVOUS WITNESS.

G ONE EXCELLENT and GLENEALY GENERALS bumped at the start.

KOWLOON EAST STAR lost its left front plate in the early stages.

Passing the 800 Metres, GLENEALY GENERALS was awkwardly placed close to the heels of G ONE EXCELLENT.

Near the 550 Metres, E SPRINTER got its head on the side and lay out, resulting in SO AWESOME being crowded for room and taken out onto GLENEALY GENERALS which was also crowded for room when awkwardly placed close to the heels of G ONE EXCELLENT.

Passing the 400 Metres, SO AWESOME was crowded for room between GLENEALY GENERALS and E SPRINTER, both of which shifted ground.

G ONE EXCELLENT raced in restricted room after the 400 Metres outside FABULOUS EIGHT and after becoming unbalanced when crowded for room outside FABULOUS EIGHT passing the 300 Metres was then directed to the inside of that horse near the 200 Metres to obtain clear running.

G ONE EXCELLENT was then shifted in away from the heels of GOODMANSHIP near the 50 Metres to continue improving.

After the 200 Metres, E SPRINTER, which was laying out, was shifted in away from the heels of WHO LOVES THE ACE which was giving ground.

A veterinary inspection of KOWLOON EAST STAR and WONDERFUL FANTASY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

NERVOUS WITNESS and CIRCUIT SEVEN were sent for sampling.
