Racing Incident Report
Race Eieven: (826) - CONTENTMENT HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400Meters
On arrival at the Start, it was noted that BLAZE WARRIOR had blood in the mouth.
BLAZE WARRIOR was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
FANTASTIC SHOW was slow to begin.
CRAIG'S STAR was badly crowded for room on jumping between HELENA BABY which shifted in and ENCOURAGED which was taken out by KAI XIN DRAGON.
In this incident, HELENA BABY became unbalanced when bumped on the hindquarters by CRAIG'S STAR and ENCOURAGED lost ground.
LINCOLN BRIGHT shifted out at the start and bumped the hindquarters of RUN RUN COOL.
LINCOLN BRIGHT then shifted in and bumped WIN WIN FIGHTER which became unbalanced after initially being bumped on jumping by APACHE PASS which shifted out.
From wide barriers, WIN WIN FIGHTER and MASTER HERO were steadied to obtain cover in the early stages.
UNCLE STEVE was also steadied shortly after the start to obtain a position closer to the rail with cover.
LINCOLN BRIGHT travelled keenly for some distance after the 1200 Metres when being steadied to obtain cover behind APACHE PASS.
At the entrance to the Straight, CRAIG'S STAR was momentarily directed out away from the heels of HELENA BABY which shifted out.
Approaching the 300 Metres, TEAM POWER and BLAZE WARRIOR raced tight.
Close to the finishing line, TEAM POWER raced close to the heels of BLAZE WARRIOR.
Throughout the race, APACHE PASS travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that HELENA BABY had sustained a laceration to the left hind heel.
A veterinary inspection of FANTASTIC SHOW and KAI XIN DRAGON immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
BLAZE WARRIOR and MOERAKI were sent for sampling.

Additional Veterinary Reports from Happy Valley Racemeeting on 7 July 2021 Subsequent official veterinary inspections (without endoscopy) of APOLAR WARRIOR, SURE WIN WIN, GO BALLISTIC, KA FORTUNE, SEIZE THE SPIRIT, FIRE BALL, AURORA PEGASUS, SAVVY KINGMAN, RAINBOW LIGHT, NOTHING NEW, FARIBAULT, PARTY WARRIOR, MANAGEMENT SUPREME, WIN WIN STAR, TELECOM ROCKET, SIMPLY FLUKE, THE RUNNER, HONG KONG BET, FAMILY FOLKS, RHAPSODY, EVERYONE'S DELIGHT and HARMONY SPIRIT revealed no apparent abnormality.

Racing Laboratory tests of FORMULA EXCEL, JOY MASTER, DIAMOND STAR, ONE STEP AHEAD, TELECOM MISSILE, VOYAGE STAR, STREET SCREAM, MY ECSTATIC, SUMMIT CHEERS, INFINITY WIN, EXCELLENT CHARIOT, GREAT HARVEST, STUNNING IMPACT, DRAGON COMMANDER, TAILOR MADE, LOOKING GREAT, SUPER FOOTBALL, FLYING QUEST, SPEED FAY FAY, ULTIMATE GLORY, JADE PHOENIX, SPEEDY MOUSE, BIG FORTUNE, THE GOLDEN SCENERY, JOYFUL FORTUNE, FIRST RESPONDER and GOOD VIEW CLARICO (1.7.21) proved negative.

Odds-on favourite Blaze Warrior kept finding for a comfortable win after hitting the front 200m out following a handy run on the fence trying the 1,400m for the first time. He remains unbeaten in three starts. Moeraki got the better of Team Power over the final 100m to finish a respectable second following a prominent run. It was his best run to date on this surface. Team Power kept on gamely for third after chasing the speed third on the fence. He proved an upset win last start was not a fluke. Master Hero came from near last and down the outside to fill the frame with money coming for him late. He was able to hold his own up in grade off a light weight. Uncle Steve ran on steadily without ever looking a threat after making his run fourth last on the fence. He's honest but isn't a prolific winner. Run Run Cool weakened 100m out after taking the lead from Kai Xin Dragon 350m out following a speed-tracking run. He's still settling in despite a better effort on his opening two runs. Craig's Star ran on without ever looking a threat from toward the rear. He couldn't defy top weight but is likely on or near his mark.
