Recap by phillip woo
Carroll Street kept up a strong gallop to win comfortably after cruising to the lead 400m out following a prominent run on the stand side. The three-year-old was winning for the third time from four starts and the future is bright. Odds-on favourite Winner Method kept on a clear-cut second after vying for the lead. He wasn't smart enough to give the winner 15 pounds. Resolute kept on well for a placing dictating the run but only narrowly for the most part carrying a light weight. It was a good effort in a rare outing on the turf. Metro Warrior kept plugging away to just miss a placing after prompting the pace from a low draw. It was another honest effort over this Sha Tin trip. Perfect Glory ran on without ever looking a threat from the rear of the field. It was a positive performance over an inadequate trip following an injury-induced absence. Utopia Life ran on without menacing from towards the rear. He's more effective on the dirt. Eight Trigrams weakened 100m out after travelling on the speed near the grandstand side. He needs a return to Class Four to show his true colours.
