Racing Incident Report
Race Ten: (488) - DAISY HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1800Meters
HO HO KHAN lifted its front feet off the ground as the start was effected and then was crowded for room between TSAR which shifted out and ASSIMILATE which shifted in.
After this, ASSIMILATE was steadied to obtain cover.
From wide barriers, CHARITY GO and CONQUEROR were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Passing the 750 Metres, BERLIN TANGO was taken wider and without cover by SUPER FOOTBALL which shifted out away from the heels of SEA OF LIFE after being awkwardly placed behind that horse.
Passing the 650 Metres, SUPER FOOTBALL raced tight outside the heels of SEA OF LIFE which got its head on the side and lay out away from MAXIMUS.
SEA OF LIFE then lay out rounding the Home Turn and passing the 400 Metres got its head on the side and lay in, resulting in TSAR being momentarily awkwardly placed inside the heels of that horse.
Throughout the race, SEA OF LIFE travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of SAVVY NINE, ASSIMILATE, BERLIN TANGO and CELESTIAL POWER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of SEA OF LIFE immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.
Before being allowed to race again, SEA OF LIFE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
SUPER FOOTBALL, BUTTERFIELD and CHARITY GO were sent for sampling.

Additional Veterinary Reports from Happy Valley Racemeeting on 3 March 2021 Subsequent official veterinary inspections (without endoscopy) of ALL BEST FRIENDS, TAILOR MADE, NUNCHUKS, SAVVY KINGMAN, MERCURIAL, WOOD ON FIRE, MISSION SMART, SMART COUSIN, DYNAMIC EAGLE, METHANE, SUPERB DADDY, HURRY HURRY GAIN, SPRINT FORWARD, EVER FORCE, SPONTANEOUS, WEALTHY DELIGHT, ROYAL BOMB, WIND N GRASS, JAZZ STEED, FARSHAD and SAVAQUIN revealed no apparent abnormality.

Racing Laboratory tests of WONDER WIN, GOOD DAYS, SUPERBELLA, RIGHT HONOURABLE, THUNDER STOMP, SUNSHINE WARRIOR, SOLAR WAI WAI, FAST MOST FURIOUS, JAZZ STEED, FLYING GENIUS, NORDIC WELLSTAR, FORTUNE CARRIER, HARMONY FIRE, CANTSTOPTHEFEELING, GRATEFUL HEART, SKY FIELD, STRONGER, DAILY BEAUTY, HERO STAR, KURPANY, RACING FIGHTER, HANDSOME BO BO, GREEN LUCK and TSAR (24.2.21) proved negative.

Butterfield was too smart after hitting the front 200m out following a perfect ride three back on the fence by Zac Purton. He took full advantage of gate two with a return to his favourite 1,800m. Punted late, Charity Go came from near last with one wider out to grab second 50m out. He's racing very well. Maximus lost second late after chasing the speed with cover the entire way. It was a good effort. Conqueror came from last and widest out near the 200m to snatch fourth on the wire. He's produced mixed results in his four starts but clearly has some ability. Favourite Super Football came up rather onepaced when asked for an effort after angling out and trying to improve from the 600m following a one-off run in midfield. The combination of a rise in class and distance was too much to overcome. Tsar ran on without threatening travelling four back and one off the fence. He's shown progress in his past two of three starts.
