Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (351) - HERON HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1000Meters
On arrival at the barriers, it was noted that FLASHCARD had blood at its mouth.
FLASHCARD was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
After being loaded, GOOD LUCK CHARM became fractious and reared.
GOOD LUCK CHARM was removed from the barriers and examined by the Veterinary Officer who advised the horse was suitable to race.
Before being allowed to race again, GOOD LUCK CHARM will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test.
BALTIC WHISPER began only fairly.
PING HAI BRAVO was held up for clear running until approaching the 200 Metres.
A veterinary inspection of HAPPY GOOD GUYS and WINNING BREW immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
CARROLL STREET, PING HAI BRAVO and VALIANT DREAM were sent for sampling.

Ping Hai Bravo quickened brilliantly to win going away 50m out after getting into the clear 150m out following a stands side run behind midfield. He's really flourished following a switch to the straight 1,000m in his past four starts and should remain competitive up in grade off a light weight. Firming late Valiant Dream kept on gamely after getting pestered for the lead. He's a winner waiting to happen. Favourite Carroll Street stayed on all right following a prominent run on the far side to finish a non-threatening third. It wasn't a bad effort in higher grade here after a smart debut win. Metro Warrior grudgingly gave way over the last 100m after pressing the pace. He had every chance with the claim well utilised. Specked late, War Of Courage kept on one paced travelling handy near the stands side. He's not far off a bottom. Forte came up flat 150m out after ranging up to challenge for the lead 250m out following a speed-chasing run from a low draw.
