Racing Incident Report
Race Four: (279) - ROSELLE HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1400Meters
KING DRAGON was slow to begin.
LUCKY TURBO began awkwardly and made contact with SUPER TEN.
MAXIMIZE HEART shifted out soon after the start, resulting in WINWIN THIRTYTHREE and EASY DAZZLING being crowded.
In this incident, WINWIN THIRTYTHREE became badly unbalanced when awkwardly placed near the heels of MAXIMIZE HEART.
From a wide barrier, ULTRA EXPRESS was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
MAXIMIZE HEART lost its left hind plate at the 1100 Metres.
Passing the 1100 Metres, LUCKY TURBO got its head up when awkwardly placed between EASY DAZZLING which initially shifted out and DANDY YEARS which shifted in when awkwardly placed inside the heels of EVERYONE'S DELIGHT which shifted in.
DANDY YEARS was left racing wide and without cover at the 1000 Metres.
At the 600 Metres, SUPERB DADDY and LEADING FORTUNE raced tight as LEADING FORTUNE attempted to maintain cover behind LUCKY TURBO.
Approaching the 50 Metres, EVERYONE'S DELIGHT was inconvenienced when awkwardly placed inside the heels of LEADING FORTUNE (J Moreira) which shifted in before being corrected.
J Moreira was advised to exercise more care.
After the race, Z Purton stated that, from a wide barrier, he was forced to ride EVERYONE'S DELIGHT along for some distance in the early stages to clear runners to his inside and ultimately settled outside of the leader SUPER TEN approaching the 1000 Metres.
He said EVERYONE'S DELIGHT travelled comfortably enough throughout the middle stages, however, when placed under pressure in the Straight did not respond as he anticipated and was slightly disappointing.
He added the only excuse he could offer was that EVERYONE'S DELIGHT was required to do some work in the early stages and which impacted on the horse's finishing effort when racing over 1400 Metres for the first time.
A veterinary inspection of EVERYONE'S DELIGHT immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
After the race, the Veterinary Surgeon reported that ULTRA EXPRESS was lame in its right front leg.
Before being allowed to race again, ULTRA EXPRESS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of SUPERB DADDY and A SHIN CHALLENGE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
EVERYONE'S DELIGHT, SUPER TEN and LEADING FORTUNE were sent for sampling.

Super Ten was perfectly rated in front after jumping on top from gate five for a maiden win at start five. He had shown promise as a griffin and took advantage of a better draw second-up this term with the claim well utilised. Second favourite Leading Fortune just held onto second after a wide without cover run behind midfield from an awkward gate. He's returned to form in his past few starts and can break through shortly. Ultra Express ran on nicely to grab a placing late after finding the fence behind midfield from a wide gate after only 100m. Maximize Heart nearly filled a placing after a handy run on the fence. He's heading in the right direction after going okay on debut last month. King Dragon got going late from the rear of the field after a slow start. He keeps promising but has yet to deliver. Favourite Everyone's Delight was yielding ground 150m out after parking outside the leader from a wide gate.
