Favourite Golden Sixty closed strongly to win going away 30m out after being held up for a run behind midfield until the 250m despite a step up to the 1,800m to up his record to nine wins from 10 starts. Champion's Way found only one too good after hitting the front 250m out settling midfield with cover at the 1,400m. He's returned to form in his past three starts and should be peaking on Derby day. More Than This kept on well after making his move three deep at the 500m following a patient ride second from the rear. It was another good run in defeat. Enjoying came on well from the rear to fill the frame. He's heading in the right direction and is crying out for a longer trip. Playa Del Puente stuck on all right after a prominent run. Beauty Legacy didn't get a clear run until the 150m following a patient ride third from the rear. Specked late Reliable Team wasn't up to the challenge following a dream run on the back of the leader World Famous.

Racing Incident Report

Race Seven: (441) - THE HONG KONG CLASSIC CUP - Class 4YO - 1800Meters

PLAYA DEL PUENTE began awkwardly.

BEAUTY LEGACY was crowded for room on jumping between GOLDEN SIXTY which shifted in abruptly and WORLD FAMOUS which shifted out marginally.

In this incident, WORLD FAMOUS became unbalanced due to contact on its hindquarters from BEAUTY LEGACY.

From wide barriers, ENJOYING and MORE THAN THIS were steadied and shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

For some distance after the 1300 Metres, BEAUTY LEGACY proved very difficult to settle and got its head up when being checked away from the heels of PRIVATE SECRETARY.

GOLDEN SIXTY was held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight and near the 250 Metres raced in restricted room when improving into tight running between CHAMPION'S WAY and MORE THAN THIS.

PRIVATE SECRETARY was held up for clear running after the 300 Metres.

BEAUTY LEGACY was held up for clear running approaching and passing the 200 Metres.

A veterinary inspection of BEAUTY LEGACY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

GOLDEN SIXTY and CHAMPION'S WAY were sent for sampling.
