Raging favourite Thanks Forever won with plenty in hand after cruising to the front from Multimillion at the 400m to remain unbeaten in three starts and give his rider Zac Purton a milestone 1,000th win. He's destined for better things if he can stay sound. Multimillion was no match for the winner after getting pressured for the lead but still kept on a clear-cut second. He's had a terrific season. Goko gradually faded after pressing the pace. He was able to bounce back with a positive result after a dull run on a wet surface last time out. Orionids made some ground without ever looking a chance travelling midfield on the far side. He only beat struggling rivals. Wayfoong Vinnie made a mild bid settling fourth from the back after a sluggish start. He's having trouble recapturing his best form. Utopia Life tamely faded after vying the lead. He's disappointed three times after having a win taken away in March.

Racing Incident Report

Race Three: (724) - TUEN MUN PUBLIC RIDING SCHOOL HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1000Meters

Approaching the 600 Metres, UTOPIA LIFE shifted out and made contact with HARBOUR ALERT which in turn bumped the hindquarters of THANKS FOREVER.

For the majority of the race, ORIONIDS hung in.

Also for the majority of the race, SHARP STYLE lay out.

The performance of KA YING LEGEND, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable.

Before being allowed to race again, KA YING LEGEND will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

After the race, C Schofield (WAYFOONG VINNIE) expressed concern regarding the action of the horse.

WAYFOONG VINNIE was subsequently examined by the Veterinary Officer who said there were no significant findings.

Before being allowed to race again, WAYFOONG VINNIE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

Also after the race, it was reported that ORIONIDS had bled from both nostrils and HARBOUR ALERT was displaying an irregular heart rhythm.

Before being allowed to race again, HARBOUR ALERT will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
