Recap by phillip woo
Polymer Luck just held on after hitting the front 250m out racing prominent for a second career win. He's honest and was given a terrific ride by Matthew Chadwick. Post-time favourite Happy Warrior was caught behind the tiring leader Super Euro Star travelling midfield until peeling out at the top of the straight and finished well thereafter to cut the margin to a neck on the wire He should have won. Chaparral Star ran on steadily travelling one-off in midfield to finish a close third. He's racing in great spirit and should remain competitive off his current mark. Perfect To Play came on well travelling third from the rear to fill a Quartet spot. He's shown some life signs in two of his past three following a downgrade. Curling Luxury had his chance tracking the speed one off the fence. He's more effective when allowed to bowl along in front. Sparkling Sword folded 100m out after claiming the front 700m out following a pace-stalking run.
