Racing Incident Report
Race Two: (102) - ASTER HANDICAP - Class 4 - 1200Meters
Prior to the start being effected, TOM'S DRAGON became fractious and lunged at the front gates.
Then as the start was effected, TOM'S DRAGON began awkwardly.
MANFUL STAR shifted out at the start, resulting in BIG BULLY being crowded for room and making contact with the hindquarters of BURST AWAY which became unbalanced.
From the outside barrier, TOUCHDOWN STRIKER was steadied soon after the start and shifted across behind runners.
Over the final 150 Metres, DOMINATOR was inclined to lay in under pressure.
Over the concluding stages, MANFUL STAR was awkwardly placed inside the heels of BURST AWAY and as a consequence was not able to be properly tested.
Throughout the race, BURST AWAY travelled wide and without cover.
Following the race, A Sanna expressed concern regarding the action of YOUNG EMPIRE.
A veterinary inspection of YOUNG EMPIRE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of MANFUL STAR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SPLIT OF A SECOND and FANTASTIC FABIO were sent for sampling.

Favourite Split Of A Second got up 100m out for an overdue win following a dream run in the box-seat at his 11th start. He's building up a nice record over this Valley trip. Fantastic Fabio found one just too good after claiming the lead racing outside the leader Young Empire 150m out. He relished a move to a 10-pound claimer. Dominator kept plugging away following a prominent run to fill a placing. He's still learning but might be made for the dirt. Love Chunghwa made some ground near the inside to just miss a placing following a rail run in midfield. He requires a stronger pace. Specked late Tom's Dragon stayed on all right travelling one-off worse than midfield. It was a better run on his past efforts but will need to see more first. Burst Away kept on okay after a hard run without cover the entire trip in midfield. The gate cost him but do think he's better suited at Sha Tin. Young Empire tamely faded after dictating the run. He's not going well at the moment.
