Recap by phillip woo
Junzi came with a well-timed run racing fourth from the rear to overhaul Very Rich Man in the shadows of the post for the win. He can pop up now and then. Very Rich Man did everything right in front but get the win. He's a winner waiting to happen if he remains in the class. Good Companion stayed on well after tracking the leader to hold down a placing. He's always a chance over this Valley trip in this grade. London Master was still well back at the 250m but closed nicely to fill a Quartet spot. He's near a bottom. Pakistan Baby was one-paced following one-off run fore of midfield. He's not easy to get right. Firming favourite Gracious Ryder was climbing on the heels of Jumbo Bus for a majority of the race travelling midfield on the fence and had to check between runners 200m out. He had excuses. The Createth is another who can be forgiven for his run after a nocover run following a prominent run.
