Recap by phillip woo
Po Ching Treasure kept up a strong gallop to salute rather easily after getting a soft time in front. He had all favours but was fitter for a run and appreciated the addition of cheek pieces. Savannah Wind closed well after switching into the open at the 250m following a patient ride third from the rear to grab second close to home. It was a solid run on the back of a pedestrian pace and he gives the impression he has the tools to win a race in this grade now. Ishvara stayed on well following a handy run without cover to fill a placing. He can't seem to draw a gate but is well rated and can salute at any moment. King's Man just failed to place following a midfield run on the fence. He pops up now and then. Favourite Happy Sebring came up one-paced following a box-seat run. He needed the outing in his first try over the Valley 1,800m following a stable change. Ten Flames ran on without menacing from behind midfield. The pace went against him.
