Racing Incident Report
Race Five: (542) - THE HONG KONG LIONS CUP (HANDICAP) - Class 3 - 1200Meters
SUPER FUN began only fairly.
HAPPY HOUR shifted out at the start and bumped ALWAYS WIN.
CEREFINO lost its right hind plate shortly after the start.
From the outside barrier, SPIRIT was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
EVERBRAVE shifted out on jumping and bumped FORTUNE PATROL.
After this, FORTUNE PATROL was shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
After this incident, EVERBRAVE was ridden along for a short distance to obtain a forward position, however, was steadied passing the 1100 Metres to obtain a position behind RADIANT BUNNY.
Approaching the 1000 Metres, RAGING BLITZKRIEG shifted out and bumped WINNING SUPREME.
Rounding the Home Turn, RADIANT BUNNY raced tight outside LOTUS BREEZE which shifted to the outside of ALWAYS WIN to obtain clear running.
Throughout the race, RADIANT BUNNY travelled wide and without cover.
ALWAYS WIN and RAGING BLITZKRIEG were sent for sampling.

Early favourite Always Win was nicely rated one-off in fourth before running down posttime favourite Raging Blitzkrieg 60m out for a second straight win. He was well rated with 10-pound claimer Victor Wong on top but will find things harder in Class Two. Raging Blitzkrieg couldn't repel the winner after hitting the front at the 300m chasing the leader Winning Supreme. He's come up second best in two of his past three starts and will be winning shortly. Plunged late Radiant Bunny ran on well two from the right after a deep run in midfield to fill a placing. He's naturally returning to form in his three outings this term. Lotus Breeze stayed on all right following a midfield run to just miss a placing. He does appear from his past few runs to be finding his mark again. Well-backed late Everbrave was getting going one from the right without menacing after settling fourth from the rear. He'll need to drop further in the handicaps.
