Recap by phillip woo
Eastern Express found a second wind when they came at him 100m out to just prevail after getting his own way in front. He got away with a slow pace. Specked late Rise High came on nicely after travelling second from the rear to make it very tight on the wire. It's taken him a few runs to get going and hopefully he starts to live up to his group winning potential in Ireland. Plunged late Spicy Sure came to win the race following a prominent run along the fence and just petered out in the last 50m to just lose second on the wire. He's better suited over the 1,400m. Odds-on favourite Easy Go Easy Win got going late after travelling third from the rear. The pace went against him. Simply Invincible only plodded following a one-off run in third. He's struggling to find his best this season.
