Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (415) - KWONG WAH HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1600Meters
LAST KINGDOM began only fairly.
ZILONG and DRAGON LIPS bumped at the start.
SPICY SURE stumbled at the start.
Passing the 750 Metres, HANG'S DECISION shifted out marginally when awkwardly placed close to the heels of LAST KINGDOM which was being steadied away from the heels of EASY GO EASY WIN.
When HANG'S DECISION shifted out, it made contact with ZILONG which got its head up and shifted out abruptly.
Approaching the 500 Metres, SPICY SURE and EASY GO EASY WIN raced tight as EASY GO EASY WIN shifted to the outside of EASTERN EXPRESS.
Passing the 500 Metres, CONTE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of LOCKHEED.
Passing the 50 Metres, LAST KINGDOM was shifted to the outside of SPICY SURE which lay in under pressure.
Because of this, LAST KINGDOM was not able to be fully tested over the concluding stages.
A veterinary inspection of KEEN VENTURE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
CONTE and EASY GO EASY WIN were sent for sampling.

Short-priced favourite Conte was able to hold off Easy Go Easy Win after hitting the front approaching the 200m following a box-seat run to remain unbeaten in five starts despite a step up in distance. He'll remain in the grade and can win another. Easy Go Easy Win was closing with every stride following a midfield run to finish a clear-cut second. Lockheed reclaimed the lead from Dragon Lips at the 350m but was no match for the top pair. He's shown some ability in three of his four starts and isn't far off a win. Spicy Sure closed off all right following a midfield run but does have trouble winning at this level. Hang's Decision closed off a shade better after travelling second from the rear. He has been disappointing this term but is likely going to find his way into Class Three now and that could spark improvement. Keen Venture never ran on from beyond midfield. It was a below par performance but he does prefer a faster pace.
