Racing Incident Report
Race Three: (256) - FLYING DANCER HANDICAP - Class 1 - 1400Meters
DUNDONNELL, which was fractious in the barriers, lifted its front feet off the ground as the start was effected and consequently was slow to begin.
Before being allowed to race again, DUNDONNELL will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test.
RACING SUPERNOVA began only fairly.
NOTHINGILIKEMORE began awkwardly.
Making the Home Turn, GIANT TREASURE got its head on the side, lay out and was awkwardly placed inside the heels of WINNER'S WAY.
Throughout the race, DASHING FELLOW travelled wide and without cover and made the Home Turn awkwardly.
Approaching the 250 Metres, GIANT TREASURE and SOUTHERN LEGEND raced tight.
C Schofield (JOLLY BANNER) dropped his whip after passing the 200 Metres.
SOUTHERN LEGEND and NOTHINGILIKEMORE were sent for sampling.

Southern Legend darted to the front 130m out and just held off the raging favourite Nothingilikemore for a third win from six starts. He's a smart one up to 1,400m. Nothingilikemore finished well after being niggled along to stay in touch second from the rear to make it a nail-biter on the line. Giant Treasure stuck on well to grab a placing 50m out following a box-seat run. The big weight was too great a hurdle but appears from his past two starts to be reclaiming form. Winner's Way just wasn't good enough after stalking the leader. It wasn't a bad run but has already hit his peak mark. Magic Legend grudgingly gave way after dictating the run. He keeps finding a few too smart and seems more effective over a shorter trip. Dundonnell finished well after trailing the field following a slow start. It was a good effort first-up for his new trainer after a long break but off his current mark there aren't too many easy choices.
