Recap by phillip woo

Fortune Bo Bo hit the front 100m out after pressing forward to stalk the leader and kept on gamely to just hold the terribly unlucky Money Boy for an upset win. He's an honest sprinter but will find it harder up in class. Favourite Money Boy was all dressed up with nowhere to go until pulling out at the 100m following a box-seat run and just failed to get up. Plunged late General Iron finished well along the inside following a midfield run to finish a close third. Veteran appears to be near a bottom. Keep Moving kept grinding away after settling one-out, one-back from a tricky gate to just miss a placing. He lost nothing in defeat and remains a live chance when next reappearing over this Valley trip. E-Super stayed on reasonably well despite being cast deep without cover in midfield until the 600m from a wide gate. He's a hard one to ignore when drawing properly. Bombay Blitz closed off well after making his run at the rear of the field.

Racing Incident Report

Race Six: (250) - FRANCE HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1000Meters

STARLIGHT was withdrawn on 5.12.17 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore foot) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter BOMBAY BLITZ (C Y Ho).

Before being allowed to race again, STARLIGHT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

DALRADIAN began only fairy and shortly after the start shifted out and bumped SWOT WINDICATOR.

OCEAN ROAR and MONEY BOY bumped at the start.

MONEY BOY then shifted out, resulting in WAYFOONG VINNIE being awkwardly placed close to the heels of that horse shortly after the start.

E-SUPER was crowded for room on jumping between KEEP MOVING and LUCKY MASTER.

Then from the outside barrier, LUCKY MASTER was shifted across behind runners.

Passing the 700 Metres, DALRADIAN raced in restricted room between GENERAL IRON and MOST BEAUTIFUL (A Badel) which shifted in.

A Badel was advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground in similar circumstances.

Making the turn after the 600 Metres, MOST BEAUTIFUL raced in restricted room between GENERAL IRON and E-SUPER which got its head on the side and lay in.

MONEY BOY was unable to obtain clear running until passing the 200 Metres at which time the horse was directed to the outside of FORTUNE BO BO.

Then passing the 100 Metres, MONEY BOY raced in restricted room between KEEP MOVING and FORTUNE BO BO, both of which shifted a minimal amount of ground.

For a short distance after this, MONEY BOY and KEEP MOVING bumped as both horses continued to race tight.

Over the concluding stages, BOMBAY BLITZ was unable to obtain clear running and consequently was not able to be ridden out all the way to the end of the race.

FORTUNE BO BO and MONEY BOY were sent for sampling.
