Fairy Twins just got up in the final stride after travelling one off worse than midfield for a third win from 11 starts. He's had to overcome throat problems and a foot injury to reclaim glory but is certainly good when right. Charity Glory was nipped late after briefly hitting the front 50m out following a midfield run. He cost himself the win when lunging at the gate and dipping at the start. Who Else But You rushed to the lead from a wide gate, cornered two lengths on top and grudgingly gave way in the drive. Healthy Luck had no excuse following a box-seat run. He keeps finding one or a few too good in his three starts this term and may need to make use of a claimer's allowance. Blaze Stamina came up one-paced over the final 150m following a pace-stalking run. He needs to strike an easier test. Brave Legend ran on late from beyond midfield. He needs a faster pace. Early favourite Sir Redalot came up flat following a handy run with cover.

Racing Incident Report

Race Three: (247) - JAPAN HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters

Just prior to the start being effected, FAIRY TWINS became fractious and lunged at the front gates.

Also just prior to the start being effected, CHARITY GLORY became fractious and then began only fairly.

Shortly after the start, BRAVE LEGEND was steadied away from the heels of HEALTHY LUCK (D Whyte) which shifted in when being ridden along.

D Whyte was advised to exercise more care.

From the outside barriers, BREEDERS' STAR and BACK IN BLACK were steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.

GLORIOUS PARTNERS and NAVAS were also steadied in the early stages and shifted across to obtain cover.

Throughout the race, EXPERTO CREDE travelled wide and without cover.

A veterinary inspection of SIR REDALOT immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea.

Before being allowed to race again, SIR REDALOT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

FAIRY TWINS and CHARITY GLORY were sent for sampling.
