Racing Incident Report
Race Six: (150) - PO CHONG WAN HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
FORTUNE BOOTH was checked on jumping when crowded for room between TRIUMPHANT JEWEL and POWERMAX which, after being bumped by SUPER MAN which began awkwardly, then became unbalanced and shifted out away from that horse.
From a wide barrier, MR PICASSO was steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.
Passing the 1000 Metres, TRIUMPHANT JEWEL got its head on the side and shifted out, resulting in RADIANT TREASURE being taken out onto HAPPY BAO BEI which was crowded for room inside YOUNG EMPIRE.
Making the turn after the 600 Metres, POWERMAX was awkwardly placed inside the heels of YOUNG EMPIRE.
Passing the 250 Metres, FORTUNE BOOTH was shifted out away from the heels of GENERAL IRON which shifted out marginally under pressure.
Over the final 100 Metres, DOUBLE VALENTINE raced in restricted room between TRIUMPHANT JEWEL and GENERAL IRON and consequently was not able to be properly tested.
Throughout the race, YOUNG EMPIRE travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground.
A veterinary inspection of SUPER MAN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of MR PICASSO immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm and had bled from both nostrils.
Before being allowed to race again, MR PICASSO will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
FORTUNE BOOTH and HEALTHY LUCK were sent for sampling.

Favourite Fortune Booth finished very well after settling one off the fence beyond midfield after a slow break to win going away 50m out in an impressive debut. He was well prepared but appears to have points in hand and will get further on his overseas form. Healthy Luck found one too smart after reclaiming the front from Triumphant Jewel entering the straight. He's run well in both outings this term and will be saluting shortly. Powermax closed off steadily despite a deep run without cover in midfield to fill a placing. He doesn't know how to run a bad race over this Valley trip. Punted late General Iron stuck on all right following a prominent run. He's near a bottom. High Volatility finished off well near the inside after travelling third from the rear with a step back in distance at his fourth outing this term. Double Valentine only plodded following a prominent run along the fence. He requires a further trip.
