Recap by phillip woo

Letsgofree came on strongly widest out after positioned fourth from the rear to get up in the final few metres for a second straight win and land a betting plunge. He's effective up to a mile and should win another before the handicapper has him. Favourite Great Toplight was swamped late after hitting the front 50m out following a prominent run along the fence behind a solid pace to make it back-to-back runner-up finishes. He's a winner waiting to happen. Sangria let down well after peeling into the open at the 200m following a patient ride third from the rear. He's gone a lot better in his two runs at this level this term and will be suited by an even further trip. The Show was doing some good work late after travelling second from the rear. The pace suited him but he's likely near a bottom and merits attention next run over the 1,400m or 1,600mn. Goal For Gold made some ground from the rear of the field. He's well rated on a few earlier placings.
