Favourite Dr Listening came on nicely following a midfield run to win going away 100m out with cheek pieces on. He won like he had a class in hand and remains one to follow next season. McQueen stuck on well for second after hitting the front 200m out despite proving difficult to settle early on parking one off behind the leader Thunder Stomp. He's not genuine but seems to go best over the 1,800m. Thunder Stomp kept on gamely after dictating the run. He doesn't know how to run a bad race over this course but may be near his mark. Kiram enjoyed a lovely run in the box-seat but couldn't turn it up another gear. The 1,800m is too far a distance. Willie Way made ground late without menacing from behind midfield. He's likely on his mark on this surface but is still unbeaten three times on the dirt. Happy Life made headway without ever looking a threat travelling outside Willie Way in the run. He's better suited at a mile. Easy Hedge had no excuse following a one-out, one-back run.

Racing Incident Report

Race Seven: (795)-SILVER GRECIAN HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1800Metres

M L Yeung dismounted HAPPY LIFE after that horse became fractious in the Parade Ring.

GOOD CHOICE was crowded for room on jumping between LOTUS STRIKES BACK and TEN FLAMES, both of which shifted ground.

After this, both GOOD CHOICE and TEN FLAMES were shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.

Shortly after the start, KIRAM was awkwardly placed outside THUNDER STOMP which shifted out when being ridden along.

Passing the winning post on the first occasion, MCQUEEN jumped a shadow, became badly unbalanced and shifted out when racing with its head up.

Also passing the winning post on the first occasion, LITTLE ISLAND was awkwardly placed close to the heels of EASY HEDGE.

Passing the 1300 Metres, EASY HEDGE was steadied away from the heels of MCQUEEN.

When awkwardly placed behind MCQUEEN, EASY HEDGE shifted in and bumped KIRAM approaching the 1200 Metres.

Passing the 1200 Metres, TEN FLAMES was checked away from the heels of LOTUS STRIKES BACK which was awkwardly placed behind HAPPY CONTENDER.

A veterinary inspection of EASY HEDGE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

DR LISTENING and MCQUEEN were sent for sampling.
