Harrier Jet just out-finished Healthy Luck following a prominent run for an overdue first win at his 15th start following placings in half his six earlier runs this term. He'll remain competitive up in grade off a lightweight sprinting over this course. Favourite Healthy Luck found one just better on the day after enjoying all the favours in the boxseat. He had no excuse but it was only his fourth run and do expect him to have more improvement up his sleeves. Hella Hedge was swamped inside the final 50m after settling a good pace up front. It was good performance on the back of a last-start win and he'll remain a speed threat when next stepping out if he remains in the grade. Money Boy ran on steadily following a midfield run to just get the bob down for fourth over Vara Pearl. He's likely one for next season after failing three times to lift his game at this level following solid performances in Class Four. Vara Pearl closed off nicely travelling worse than midfield near the inside. He doesn't know how to run a bad race over this course but is more effective at a mile.

Racing Incident Report

Race Six: (496)-SHEK PAI WAN HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1200Metres

MONEY BOY began awkwardly.

LOADED and EXPERTO CREDE began only fairly and from wide barriers were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Shortly after the start, HARRIER JET shifted in and bumped VARA PEARL which became unbalanced.

After initially being ridden along, PAKISTAN BABY was left racing very wide approaching the first turn near the 1000 Metres and was then steadied and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.

OHANA was also steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover and making the first turn near the 1000 Metres was awkwardly placed inside the heels of HAPPY YEAH YEAH.

Near the 850 Metres, HEALTHY LUCK momentarily raced in restricted room inside YOU READ MY MIND which lay in.

Passing the 800 Metres, PAKISTAN BABY got its head up when awkwardly placed close to the heels of HAPPY YEAH YEAH.

Making the turn after the 600 Metres, LOADED brushed the running rail and became unbalanced.

Passing the 150 Metres, VARA PEARL raced tight inside YOU READ MY MIND which shifted in away from HARRIER JET.

For the majority of the race, TANG FLEMING travelled wide and without cover.

After the race, it was reported that HAPPY YEAH YEAH had sustained a deep wound above the point of the left hock.

Before being allowed to race again, HAPPY YEAH YEAH will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

A veterinary inspection of TANG FLEMING immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.

HARRIER JET and HEALTHY LUCK were sent for sampling.
