Racing Incident Report
Race Eight: (201)-THE BOCHK WEALTH MANAGEMENT JOCKEY CLUB SPRINT - Group Two - 1200Metres
DUNDONNELL and LUCKY YEAR were steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners.Passing the 700 Metres, DUNDONNELL and LUCKY YEAR raced tight.
In this incident, DUNDONNELL turned its head to the left and attempted to savage LUCKY YEAR.
This was brought to the attention of Mr C Fownes, the trainer of DUNDONNELL.
Approaching the 600 Metres, STRATHMORE was bumped and taken wider by AEROVELOCITY which shifted out.
Near the 350 Metres, AEROVELOCITY got its head on the side and shifted out.
NOT LISTENIN'TOME and LUCKY BUBBLES were sent for sampling.

In a surprise result, Not Listenin'tome held on gamely after hitting the front 180m out following a one-out, one-back run to upset the big boys with the hood going back on. He'll need to prove this was no fluke. Favourite Lucky Bubbles got too far back travelling third from the rear but finished strongly to easily grab second. He'll likely be the one to beat in December's HK Sprint. Aerovelocity kept plugging away following a prominent run for a placing. He's not getting any younger but it was still a good run in defeat. Able Friend made some ground from just worse than midfield to figure in the First-4. It was a good effort off an 11-month injury-induced absence. Amazing Kids didn't let down as expected from midfield in a rare below par performance. It was a positive first run back by Strathmore who wasn't far out of the placings following a handy run and he should give a much better sight when next stepping out.
