Recap by phillip woo
Expensive newcomer Jing Jing Win had to be vetted prior to the start but was a complete professional when the race got underway and proved a class above the rest. He drew clear after reclaiming the lead 250m out from the front-running Gainfuljet and does have many more wins in store for connections. Winning Boy was no match for the winner but did come home a clear second following a box-seat run. He does go well fresh but rarely runs a bad race when drawn close to the rail. Gainfuljet didn't have much behind him after getting his own way up front but it was only his fourth start and he does have time on his side. Kingston Jumbo kept plugging away after a prominent run without cover to fill a Quartet spot. He was suited by the return to Class Four and will be looking forward to a return to his preferred dirt surface.
